Mini Swap meet 15 June 2018 hosted by Dick Manning.

A wet and wintry night didn't stop a large group from descending upon the club rooms. Maybe the thought of a good bargain and picking up that missing bit or the MG lured many out of their comfy man (or woman) caves. Some of the attendees we don't see at monthly meetings, so it was to to catch up with them at this different type of event on a friday night.

	Many and varied MG and other car bits were laid out on the tables for all to look at, touch and ask relevant questions of the sellers. There were a number of knowledgeable people around to ask questions of, and some had reasonable answers.
Highlight of the night was Bob Bazzica being the 'auctioneer' and conducting an auction of items.   As usual for a show hosted by Dick, there was a warm and ample supper laid on later in the evening.

MGCCSA Trading table night, Fri 14 Oct 2016 at the Club rooms

The night presented an opportunity to bring along your unwanted car (MG and other) parts to sell/swap/trade with other members of the club.

We had a really good tun out of members coming along. It's good to see the club rooms buzzing on a Friday night.

We had Paul Oliver from Autobarn - Mile End, setup a large display of car cleaning and car maintenance goods.

Dick Manning, Mike Greenwood, Paul West and John Roach had a table each filled with interesting bits and pieces for sale.

There were a number of other members who had smaller amounts of things for sale setup amongst the other tables.

I not sure how much was sold/swapped/traded. A few people commented that they took home some goodies as well as some good buys.

In fact a couple people took home more stuff than they brought to sell!

The night was well arranged by Dick Manning, with the BBQ being cooked by Leyland George and Ian Moulds, the bar served by Alan Cardnell and Berry Treffers, pizzas brought by Mick Mitolo, and Sandra Cardnell making sure that all the food was served.
